Isolation, vulnerability, separation from Spirit. These are sources of great suffering in our time, great anguish. Yet each moment, we are surrounded by Spirit-force ready to support, heal, nourish and transform us. We need only engage our relationship with spirit to receive a rich flow of blessings.
A powerful pathway to relationship with Spirit is through the Incan medicine wheel. To enter a medicine wheel is to enter a microcosm of all creation. As we stand in the center of this wheel of Life, we come into alignment with the forces that framed our cosmos.

When we enter the Incan medicine wheel, we turn to the four cardinal directions (beginning in the South) and connect with the primordial archetypes of Creation: South/Serpent, West/Jaguar, North/Hummingbird, East/Eagle-Condor. We touch the earth beneath our feet, Mother Earth. We raise our arms, our eyes and our hearts to the sky, Father Sun, Grandmother Moon, Great Spirit.

When we call with love, respect and clear intention, these energies respond. They arrive and sacred space is formed. In this safe and hallowed place we can connect to the Divine, embrace our vulnerability, deepen intimacy, heal old wounds, welcome new energies, receive aid from luminous beings and ancestral helpers, taste infinity. This is not the privilege of a elite few, but the birth right of every human.

To build relationship with the archetypal energies of the Incan Medicine Wheel, call them to join you in the creation of sacred space. Calm & center yourself. Be clear in your intention. Invite the archetypes with love & respect. Begin in the South calling upon the power of Serpent, continue West, North, East. Then honor Mother Earth & the sacred Sky energies. Below are simple prayers to get you started. As you deepen relationship, open to your own words, your own prayers. Open to connection …
